Hi,

I click on ‘Login to Facebook’ > a browser window opens > I login > I’m prompted to close window > I click ‘Done Loggin In’ > ‘Facebook API Ready’ text appears > I click ‘Browse Photos’ > THEN NOTHING HAPPEN :)

And if I put a trace on albumsResponseData.albumCollection.length it return 0.
If I try something else such as accessing to my thumbnail account or friends, it work. but albums don’t…

Sorry, I misunderstood your issue.

I’ve tested my code locally and it is working for me and my albums are also not publicly visible.
The following happens for me:
I click on ‘Login to Facebook’ > a browser window opens > I login > I’m prompted to close window > I click ‘Done Loggin In’ > ‘Facebook API Ready’ text appears > I click ‘Browse Photos’ > A list of Albums appear > I click an album > Images appear.

What are you seeing?

Hi,

Thank you for your answer. It is right that I can’t acces to my albums from this link.

The thing is that I have access to my albums via other sites such as jibjab for example.
So it look like my account don’t forbid the access to my albums once I’m connected to it( in your test link I’m not connected to it as it is to test public access).

I was wondering if there is some call to add in your code to unlock something via facebook api to be able to acces to my albums?

My first thought would be to check to see if your albums are publicly visible as opposed to visible to just your friends. This nifty little link can probably help you out there… http://zesty.ca/facebook/

Hi,

Thanks for this usefull post.

I have an issue :
The login and link with facebook is ok (I tried others functionalities) but albumsResponseData.albumCollection.length always return 0. Thus i can’t browse anything.

It is weird as my facebook user account do have albums.

Any Idea?
